Conferences Every second year CIF International is holding an international conference to keep alive the common peacework goals. The history of these conferences goes back to1958, the second year after beginning of the program. Continuity and the high level of acceptance over several decades indicate the attraction of these events.
Generally the number of participants was ranging from 200 to 300. Besides current subjects the gathering with old friends, but also making new friends play a major role. The last conference took place in Cleveland/Ohio, USA in July 2007. Like our conference in Germany in 2005 it was dedicated in particular to the 50th anniversary of CIP and CIF. A review of the conference 2005 can be found under Review of the Conference. A short report about the conference 2007 in USA can be found here. Photos about Bonn and USA have been deleted because of capacity reasons. The conference in Kiljava/Finland was a great success. At present we still show the fotos: Meanwhile the Conference in Cyprus took place. The subject GLOBAL SOCIETIES OF INCLUSION OR EXCLUSION? was quite attractive and we had good speakers. CIF Cyprus and particularly Maria Christopoulou has done an excellent work and guareanteed that the conference became an all over success. Attached you can find a list of all conferences so far incl. year, country, title etc.
